The next Christmasville · In development

Christmasville

Come in.
The kettle’s on.

A little village for making a lot of Christmas. Cook with Mrs. Claus, keep the gifts straight, and make room for an unreasonable amount of play.

For iPhone & iPad. This is a look at the next chapter being built. The current App Store version is available separately.

A few doors to knock on.

Artwork from the new village. Features below preview work in development.

01 · The kitchen

The good china can
mind its business.

Mrs. Claus’s collection of 75 illustrated recipes is finding its home in Christmasville. The new kitchen brings ingredients, cooking steps, timers, and a shopping list together.

Her own little corner of the village, with plenty of flour on the counter.

02 · The workshop

A little less
“who was this for?”

Gift ideas, people, budgets, and the bought-wrapped-given shuffle. The next workshop keeps the practical bits close, so the nice bits get more of your attention.

A personal wishing tree makes space for little hopes and the plans that might help them along.

Competitive? Us?

One more round.
Then we’ll wrap.

The village being built includes local games, gift exchanges, and a notebook for the things you want to do again next year.

Pass the phone
Pairs, Charades, White Elephant, and local Secret Elves reveals. A little festive rivalry, all in the same room.
Make something
Gingerbread, snowmen, wrapping, and other small village games. Playful places to spend a little time.
Keep a tradition
Save a plan, a checklist, or a small idea worth returning to. Christmas does not need to be perfectly organized to count.

The expanded village is not released yet. Online family sharing and invitations are not available; online character conversations still need release verification.

A completely reasonable declaration.

Life needs considerably
more Christmas.

We hereby declare that life needs considerably more Christmas. More wonder. More whimsy. More twinkly little things that make you happy for no sensible reason whatsoever. There will be unreasonable amounts of tinsel, suspiciously competitive gift exchanges, and cookies promoted to an official food group. We’re making a few things to help the situation along. Consider this your formal invitation to get carried away.

With love, a little mischief, and far too much tinsel.

A few practical questions.

Can I get Christmasville now?
Yes. The current Christmasville is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. This page previews a new version in development; its village artwork and expanded features are not a claim about the currently released version.
When is the new village coming?
The new Christmasville is in development. A release date has not been announced.
Where is Mrs. Claus’s Cookbook?
Mrs. Claus’s kitchen and its recipe collection are part of the new Christmasville direction. The standalone cookbook is no longer promoted on this website. This does not remove existing copies or transfer app data.
Is Tinsel & Snow part of Christmasville?
No. Tinsel & Snow remains a separate Mac app for Christmas lights, snow and desktop decorations.
Can my family share the new village online?
Online family sharing and invitations are not available. The new games and exchanges are being built around local play and passing a device.

Meanwhile, on your Mac…

Tinsel & Snow is still its own little thing. Christmas lights, snowfall, and tiny animated decorations for your desktop.
